after my roommates friends got off the wii last night i tried to get online at like 12, my ps2 read socom the first time and after you press x to load up it shut down , the fan kicked reall low and took me back to the original start up screen, i re started and ERROR READING DISC!!!! i tried at lest 15 times, i then kept turning it on off , opening the tray, reset for like 30 seconds just messing with the system to hopefully free something up butttttttttt nothing worked! i was pissed! ive used the disc with the brush on it but i dont want to open my ps2 :( i think i have to..what do i do once i open it up and rip that tape?! just blow it off or??
yo mclaren that happened to me...i went and bought me one of those high pressured dust removers from walmart and took my ps2 apart all the way to the lens where it reads the disk and aired out the whole thing then it worked... u might try it!!!
