is a global event scheduled for December 22, 2006 to coincide with the end of solstice. The idea is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm during this one day while thinking about peace so as to emit a positive energy on Earth. Donna Sheehan and Paul Reffell co-founded the idea.

Global Orgasm Day follows in the footsteps of the World Jump Day worldwide event which also claimed to be able to change the energy field of the Earth. The science behind both events are not scientifically accredited.

It has been predicted that nine months after December, around September, the birth rate of countries involved with the event will increase dramatically due to obvious reasons
