i go to get online today and when i go to the online screen it says no ethernet modem detected. when i put the modem up by the ps2 there is a power lite and another one but the data light is supposed to blink... the cable works up to the tv , and the ethernet cord is plugged into the modem then to the ps2, power is on but it wont detect it? could it be the ps2 is old and dusty and never been online? (3000 series. really reallyold) or what else!? modem works for my computer and stuff so idk whats wrong :(
make sure everything is plugged in properly... start ur playsation and as soon as u start ur ps2 unplug the power to your modem for 30 seconds then plug it back in... try that. i have to do that everytime i log on
